Urban Decay Spring 2015 (Clockwise): Naked Skin Powder Foundation, Moondust Eyeshadow, Sheer Revolution Lipstick, Naked Skin Concealer.
I have been a huge fan of Urban Decay products for years. In particular I've loved their eyeshadows and eyeliners. I was so excited when this collection was released, as I had never tried any of their face or lip products so I couldn't wait to get my hands on them.
I've had these products for about two weeks now, they were all released as part of Urban Decay's Spring 2015 collection. In total the Collection contains 14 shades of the powder foundation, 8 shades of the concealer, 4 eyeshadows and 10 lipstick shades

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer
Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Medium Light Neutral- Link! I have to admit when I first saw this I thought the shade would be way too dark for me, however once I applied it with the applicator and blended it out (using my Real Techniques contour brush), the colour although a little dark actually blended out really nicely. It provided amazing coverage- covering the dark circles under my eyes as well as any areas of redness on my face, blending out beautifully. This concealer is really light weight (as the name suggests) and doesn't settle into the fine lines around my eyes. I am planning to pick it up in a lighter shade soon to see if it will brighten my under eye area.

This Naked Skin Concealer comes in an impressive eight shades ranging from fair to dark with both warm and neutral tones to choose from.
It is also said to be an under eye treatment as it contains anti winkle peptides which is supposed to help improve elasticity and provide a youthful appearance. Usually I'm quite sceptical when a makeup product says it has skincare benefits, but in this case, I would have to agree - as the concealer doesn't sink into the fine lines around my eyes and exaggerate them, or look dry or cakey the way some concealers can. I have been so impressed by this concealer, I absolutely love it, dare I say it- it maybe replacing my beloved Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Solstice
Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow in Solstice
Moondust Eyeshadow in Solstice - Link! This is a red/pinky, green duo chrome powder eyeshadow with an intense  iridescent sparkle through it. This is a very flattering multidimensional unusual shade. It has an incredibly soft, smooth texture, it almost feels like a cream shadow.  I have been applying it wet (with my MAC fix+) using my Sigma flat shader brush to pack the colour onto the lid.

I will say the sparkle is very intense so I would only really wear it on a night out paired with a neutral lip.
Even though the sparkle is intense, it is also micro fine and applies beautifully. The shadow is very pigmented, glides on evenly and lasts 8 hours plus on my lids. There is inevitably some glitter fall out but I have found that if I do my eye makeup before my base, the fall out is kept to a minimum.
There were four new shades released as part of this collection. Each shadow comes in a very light weight plastic compact. With these compacts you also have the option to pop the shadows out and slot them into Urban Decay's ''build your own'' palettes

Ingredients: Dimethicone, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Silica, Talc, Triisostearyl Citrate, Isododecane, Polyethylene, Mica, Cetyl Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol. [+/- (May Contain/Peut contenir): CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 77163 (Bismuth Oxychloride)].

Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb
Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb
Sheer Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb-Link! This lipstick as the name suggests is sheer. It's packed with antioxidants, & oils which makes it feel creamy and moisturising on the lips. These lipsticks are described as a hybrid between their original lipsticks and the Naked glosses and although I haven't tried their original lipsticks, I would agree that they are somewhere between a lipstick and a gloss. Once the lipstick is applied it has a slight tacky almost sticky feel to it- don't worry it's nothing uncomfortable (your hair is not going to stick to your lips with this). This shade is a red with a pink undertone. The wear-time is what you would expect from any sheer creamy moisturising lipstick, however I have found it leaves a nice stain behind once the lipstick has worn off. It's a gorgeous bright shade for Spring/Summer!
There are 10 shades in the range from bright pinks to reds as well as some berry tones and neutral shades

Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation

Swatch of  Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation in Medium Neutral
Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation in Medium Neutral- Link! This foundation comes in 14 shades, it caters to the fairest of skin tones all the way up to the darkest, with warm, cool and neutral undertones across the range, so there should be a shade to suit everyone! It is said to work wet or dry, last up to 8 hours on the skin and is supposed to leave a luminous demi-matte finish to the skin.
I have to say I'm not usually one for powder foundations as my skin tends to be quite dry and dehydrated (especially this time of year). Unfortunately this particular shade is a little dark for me. In saying that I decided to use it over my foundation to warm up my complexion. I was very impressed with it's texture, it's very finely milled with an almost creamy feel to it, it's incredibly soft and smooth. I also tried applying it with a damp beauty blender to see how it would look when applied wet but, when I did this it clung to my dry patches, however I wasn't surprised given my dry, dehydrated skin.
Ingredients: Talc, Nylon-12, Dimethicone, Silica, Magnesium Myristate, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Zinc Stearate, Dimethiconol, Sorbic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Lauroyl Lysine. [+/- (May Contain/Peut contenir): Mica, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77491/77492/77499 (Iron Oxides)].

In the above photos I am wearing all of these Urban Decay products along with some others;
Base: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (full review here) , Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer under my eyes and a little on my cheeks to cover up some redness. I lightly dusted Urban Decay Naked Skin Powder Foundation over my face. To finish my base I applied Max Factor's Creme Puff Blush in Nude Mauve (full review here) along my cheek bones.
Eyes: I applied Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow wet using MAC Fix+, I then applied the Semi-Sweet shade from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (full review here) in the crease and a little in the outer corner. I also used the White Chocolate shade -  again from the Chocolate Bar Palette to highlight my brow bone, to finish my eyes I then applied Collection's 24 hour felt tip liner along my upper lash line and applied one coat of  Bourjois 1 Seconde Volume Mascara (full review here).
Lips: Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb.

Overall I was really impressed by this collection. If I have to pick my favourites I would definitely say the Naked concealer and the Moondust shadow are the stand out products for me.

After trying the concealer, I really want to try the Naked Skin liquid foundation. If any of you have tried it, I'd love to know what you thought of it in the comments below.

Please note this is not a sponsored post, however these products were sent to me as  PR samples - none of the links are affiliate links.
I hope you enjoyed the post and found it useful!
