Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes (from left): Seductive Pink, Nude Mauve, Lovely Pink |
I am a self confessed blusher addict, so when I saw these Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes on 3 for 2 in Superdrug I just had to pick them up!
Apparently there are six blushes in the collection but I've only ever seen four shades in both Superdrug and Boots Link!
The shades that I chose are Seductive Pink, Lovely Pink and Nude Mauve. When I first saw these I immediately thought they looked very similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes- check out my full review of those blushes here.

These are baked marblized blushes with a gorgeous soft, smooth texture, they apply evenly and blend out beautifully.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was their wear-time. They lasted about 5 hours before they started to fade on me and by hour 7 they were gone. While this isn't bad, I would have preferred them to last a little longer (I know I'm being really picky).
I would absolutely recommend these blushes to anyone, I have been so impressed by them!

Although I did like the Hourglass ones I wasn't blown away by them, I also had some kind of mild allergic reaction to them.
Both blushes have a gorgeous soft and smooth blendable texture with decent pigmentation. However the Hourglass are a little more finely milled than their Max Factor counterparts. and there are micro glitter particles the Creme Puff blushes which are not prominent in their Hourglass counterparts. The wear-time of the Hourglass is a lot better- lasting 8-9 hours whereas the Creme Puff only lasts about 5. Taking all these things into account, I would choose the Max Factor blushes as I don't think there is enough of a significant difference in their quality to warrant the huge difference in their prices. The Hourglass blushes are 3 times the price of the Max Factor blushes!
I'd love to know if you have any other blush recommendations which you think I should try. Please let me know in the comments below.

They look so beautiful! Such a shame about the shorter wear time though xx

Hey Gyudy, I know it;s such a pity- the wear time is the only downside. These are blushes that should be reapplied after 5 hours x
DeleteI also felt like these wore off/went patchy quite quickly! Glad it's not just me. They're still very pretty though xx

Hey Jasmine, It's such a pity that their wear-time let them down. I didn't notice them going patchy, they just seemed to disappear on me. x
DeleteI really love the look of these blushes - I'm yet to pick one up myself, but I love the look of Nude Mauve!

Hey Carly, I think the Nude Mauve is my favourite, it's definitely the one I've worn the most :)
