These Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows were released last December. I had been hearing really good things about them for months, being such a huge fan of their regular eyeshadows and blushes, I finally decided to order them.
There are 10 shades available in the Foiled Eyeshadow range - I have four shades. I went for Grandstand, In The Spotlight, Showtime and Magic Act.

The texture of these eyeshadows are absolutely amazing. They feel very soft and smooth - almost creamy - even though they are powder shadows. To try and describe just how ''creamy'' they are, when you put your brush into the pan it leaves a dent in the shadow. They are incredibly pigmented, apply evenly, blend out beautifully and have an intense metallic finish. Their wear time is excellent, lasting 9 hours- plus with no primer!
They are only $9.99/€9 each. I don't have any idea how Makeup Geek have managed to create such high quality beautiful eyeshadows at such an affordable price.
They come securely packaged in little cardboard sleeves, check out my Instagram here to see their packaging. I store all my Makeup Geek shadows pans in my magnetized Z palette, Check out my 2014 Favourites post here to see the palette.

Magic Act- Link! This is a pale gold metallic shade, with a yellow undertone. This shade looks beautiful on the eyelid from lash line to crease.

In the Spotlight- Link! This is my favourite shade. It looks coral with a pale pink undertone in the pan - but once applied it translates to a beige/nude metallic shade with a very slight pink undertone.
Again, it looks gorgeous on the eyelid from lash line to crease. Or you could just apply it to the inner half of the lid to brighten up any neutral look.

Grandstand- Link! This looks like a dark bronze metallic shade in the pan, but once applied to the eyes (while it still has excellent pigmentation) the shade is not as dark as you would expect, it also has a rose gold undertone to it which is not noticeable in the pan. Again I like to apply this all over the lid up to my crease. I have also worn it blended out in my crease with In The Spot Light all over the lid.

Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadow - Showtime

Showtime- Link! This is a warm burgundy/wine metallic shade. One thing to note about this shade is that it doesn't have quite the same intense metallic finish as the rest of these shades. However it is just as pigmented as the others.

I would recommend these shadows to anybody who likes metallic shades. They are affordable, incredibly pigmented, they look like you've applied them to your lid wet they're so metallic. They have a gorgeous texture and last all day on my eyes. I have yet to come across any other shadow like them. They are also paraben, talc and cruelty free! And  you get 1.8g/0.064oz in each pan - what more could anyone want, they're amazing!!!

In the below photo I am wearing Makeup Geek Vanilla Bean all over my lid. I then applied In The Spotlight on my eyelid from my lash line to my crease, with a small amount of Grandstand in my crease and outer corner.

The shipping charge was only $6.22 and my eyeshadows were shipped within 2 days of me placing the order. However, I thought it was worth mentioning that when these eyeshadows were delivered, I was charged €14 in customs charges. I thought it was strange as I had previously made two other Makeup Geek orders containing eyeshadows and blushes and was not charged customs on delivery of either of those orders.

Check out my review of the eyeshadows and pigments from Makeup Geek's regular eyeshadow range here. I have also reviewed some of their blushes here.

Please note I purchased all of the products mentioned. The above links are not affiliate links.
