Makeup Revolution Mono Eyeshadows |
Makeup Revolution Mono Eyeshadows (from the top): Dirty Cash, Cappuccino, Pure, Limitless |
I've wanted to try some Makeup Revolution products for a while
now, but I wasn't sure what I wanted, I was in Spain a few weeks ago and when I was
browsing in Primor I noticed they had a large Makeup Revolution stand, a lot of
their palettes were out of stock but I did swatch a few products and decided to
go with the single mono eyeshadows.
They have a soft buttery smooth, blendable
texture, with no fallout when applied. They are very pigmented, last
about 5 hrs before showing any signs of wear and 8-9 hrs with the
Nars pro prime eyeshadow base underneath.
Dirty Cash - Link! This is a khaki
green shade with a gold metallic finish and has a subtle brown undertone, this
shade is extremely smooth buttery, pigmented and blendable. I like to apply this
on the lid with a flat shader Sigma E55 brush or into the crease with the MAC 217 brush.

Pure- Link! This is a medium warm brown matte shade, it has
decent pigmentation and an extremely soft blendable texture, one thing to note
is that the matte shades have a more powdery texture in comparison to the metallic shades, but once you tap the excess off your brush before applying it, there is no fall
out. I like to apply this shade in the crease, to add some subtle definition to
my eyes. I have also used this shadow as a transition shade to blend out the
edges of other shades.
Makeup Revolution Mono Eyeshadow - Pure |
Limitless- Link! This is a
merged eyeshadow that makeup Revolution have released as part of their Out of This World Collection. It's a marbled baked shadow which can apparently be used
wet or dry, I haven't used it wet but supposedly you get a more intense colour
payoff! This shade is a pigmented warm golden bronze metallic shade, with micro
shimmer throughout. This shade has a very smooth, blendable texture. I like to
use this shade all over the lid, with a shade like Pure in the crease.

These eyeshadows are incredibly good value with the regular mono shadows costing €1 from Primor and £1 from The Makeup Revolution website with the merged eyeshadows costing €1.50 from Primor and £1.50 from The Makeup Revolution site.
Each of these shadows come in light weight, black
plastic casing with clear lids. It's not the sturdiest packaging ever, but
again it's pretty decent for €1!
I've been using these shadows for a
few weeks now and have been really impressed with their quality. From their
excellent pigmentation, buttery smooth texture to their impressive lasting
power and incredible price point. I would absolutely recommend for
everyone to check them out!
Please note none of the links are affiliate links and I purchased all the products mentioned.
I hope you enjoyed the post and found it useful!

Thanks Daisy, I'm glad you like them. I have created a look wearing them, it'll be up this week!
DeleteWoah I wasn't expecting these to be so pigmented on the skin, you can't really complain about that quality at such a cheap price! I haven't gotten around to trying Makeup Revolution yet, a bit late to the party, but I must do soon.
