Makeup Geek Blush Review

I ordered three Makeup Geek blushes a few weeks ago, I've wanted to try these for months, but every time I went to order them they were out of stock - so when I received an email telling them they were back in stock I ordered them straight away!
There are thirteen shades available: nine mattes and four shimmers. I chose two matte shades and one shimmer. I have been using them for about two weeks and I've been really impressed!

Spell Bound Link! This is is a dusty pink slightly rosey matte shade. Although it is matte with absolutely no shimmer, it somehow leaves a slight subtle sheen on the skin. It has an incredibly soft, smooth blendable texture. I also really love the pigmentation of the blush, it has decent colour payoff. However it's not too intense, I can apply a light layer or build it up for a more intense look.

Romance Link! This is a peach shade with lots of really finely milled golden reflective shimmer through it. This is a gorgeous blush worn alone, or alternatively I love to layer it over the Bliss shade for an even more intense look. This blush again has an extremely soft, smooth, blendable texture, with excellent colour payoff - but again like Spell Bound it's not so intense that I have to worry about over doing it when applying it. Personally with this blush, I find a small amount is enough as the golden shimmer though it is very intense.

Bliss Link! This is a matte peach shade, which again somehow leaves a subtle luminous glow on the skin. I have found that this shade isn't quite as pigmented as the other two shades. In saying that, it still applies evenly, is really blendable and buildable - meaning that I can either just get a light wash of colour or else build it up to achieve a more intense look.

I also thought it was worth mentioning that my skin has not reacted badly to them (I've got really sensitive skin and sometimes different blushes can leave me with little bumps under my skin).
These blushes are cruelty, talc and paraben free. (see ingredients list below for more details)

These blushes come in two forms Pan $9.99 (€8) and compact $12.99 (€10). Each blush contains 0.15oz/ 4.25g - just for comparison a MAC blushes contain 0.21oz/ 6g - €23 for the compact and €19 for the pan blushes. Making the Makeup Geek blushes better value for money. Personally I also prefer the formula of the Makeup Geek blushes.
I chose the pan blushes as I had an empty Z palette to put them in. I like the pans as they take up less room when storing them. Also if I can see all my blushes in a palette, I'm more likely to use a variety of them rather than having going through several different compacts.
I would absolutely recommend these blushes to anyone. I think they're really good value for money, the quality of them is amazing, they apply really evenly and have a gorgeous blendable texture. The pigmentation is buildable which I love, as I have more control over the application. And their lasting power is excellent - about 8 hours on me before they started to fade and about 10 hrs before they had almost disappeared completely.
With regard to delivery and customs charges: They arrived within 10 days of being shipped and no customs charges were applied! (However I have heard that people in the UK have had to pay customs charges) The Makeup Geek shipping and handling charge was $9.
I also ordered a few more eyeshadows which came in the delivery. I will be do a beauty look post with some of these blushes and the eyeshadows so you can see what they look like when applied.
