Sleek Makeup Face Form Contour & Blush Palette in Light

This palette is available in four shades: fair, light, medium & dark - meaning that there is a palette to suit all skin tones. The fair and light palettes come with a contour, a highlighter and a blush shade. while the medium and dark palettes come with a contour, a highlight and a bronzer.
I picked up the light palette a couple of months ago. The palette itself is a matte black plastic. It is a very slim-line convenient cheek palette with a really decent sized mirror in the lid, making it ideal for travel.

Light Face Form Sleek Makeup Palette- Contour shade

This contour shade is a neutral toned matte, making it perfect for contouring and bronzing. Some contour shades have a very grey undertone which helps to create shadows on the face. However, it can often be too harsh for everyday. Equally, if there is a warm undertone, it won't work as a contour shade as you can't really create shadows on the face with warm tones. I really like the above shade as it doesn't have a harsh grey or a warm undertone - it is more neutral, making it much more wearable as either a contour shade or a bronzer. I apply it in the hollows of my cheeks (under my cheekbones) through my temples, bringing it up onto my forehead as far in as the outer arch of my eyebrow as well as up along my hair line & a little along my jaw-line. I like to apply this with the Blank Canvas Cosmetic contour brush Link! I apply the shade with the brush length-ways and then turn it sideways to blend it out. It is very pigmented, but has a soft smooth texture making it easy to blend out.

This is a warm beige highlight. It has a slight peach undertone with gold shimmer through it and has a very soft smooth texture. This is a very pigmented shade, so it needs to be applied with a light hand. I like to use my MAC small duo fibre brush, as it only picks up a small amount of the product which gives me better control when applying it. I apply a small amount along the tops of my cheekbones. I also use it as a brow-bone and inner corner highlight for my eyes.

This is a peachy pink shade with a lot of gold shimmer running through it. Although there is a lot of shimmer in it the blush is finely milled and has a very soft smooth blendable texture, it also has excellent pigmentation. I have found that it lasts about 6 hours on me. Because this blush is quite shimmery, I have found there is no need to wear the blush and highlight together (but obviously you can if you wish).

In the below photo, I am wearing the contour shade under my cheekbones, along my temples & hair line as well as a little along my jaw-line. I then applied the blush along my cheekbones and the highlight above the blush to highlight the tops of my cheekbones. I also applied a little under my brow-bone.

I think this palette is absolutely worth the €12.99 price tag Link!. All the shades are pigmented smooth and blendable, and last about 6 hours. They also wear evenly and do not go patchy on the skin.
