Current Loves #5

Clinque Peach Pop- This is an incredibly smooth powder peach blush. It has a very unusual texture - it is so smooth it almost feels like a cream blush. There is no shimmer in it, however it is not completely matte either. When applied to the cheeks it leaves a lovely sheen on the skin. This blush lasts about eight hours on me.
Nars Lovejoy Blush- This is a bronze blush with a red undertone and has gold micro glitter running through it. I think it's ideal for summer to help give you a bronzey glow. I also feel it would work just as well in winter to add depth to your face.
Blank Canvas Cosmetics F30 Sculpting brush- This is a synthetic bristle brush. It's great for contouring and is brilliant for carving out my cheekbones. I apply the contour to my face with the brush length-ways and then turn the brush sideways to blend it out.
Anastasia Contour Kit (Java and Fawn)- I bought the contour kit a few weeks ago. I love these two shades in particular. Fawn (paler shade) for creating shadows on the face and Java (darker shade) for adding some colour and warmth. Check out my detailed review here.

Marc Jacobs Lolita Palette. -This is an amazing palette - the shades are smooth blendable, pigmented with long lasting wear time. The actual palette itself is small sleek and sturdy. All in all it is amazing quality. It consists of seven neutral shades - 3 matte, 1 glitter, 1 duo chrome and 2 metallic shades. Check out the full detailed review of this palette here.
Anastasia Brow Whiz in Brunette- This is a cool toned double-ended eyebrow pencil. There is a spoolie on one end and and finely pointed mechanical pencil on the other. I lightly apply this to my eyebrows to fill in any gaps.

Glamglow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Mask- This mask has a creamy texture and has a coconut scent. Once it's applied to the skin it is clear. It
can be applied and left on for about 20 minutes, then washed off or the excess (if any) can just be wiped off the skin with a cotton pad. I find  this mask feels cool on my skin. After using it, my skin feels hydrated and plumped up. I also think because this mask is clear when it is applied it would be good to use on a long-haul flight to keep your skin hydrated.
Josie Maran Hydrating Milk Treatment- I apply two drops to my face as the last part of my night time skincare routine. This is really moisturing and again leaves my skin feel plumped up and hydrated. It is recommended that you apply the argan oil on top of the milk, but I find the the milk on its own is enough. Once I apply this my face does look slightly oily which is why I like to wear it going to bed only.

MAC Hot Gossip lipstick - This is a mid tone rosy pink shade. It is a creme sheen which is my favourite type of MAC lipstick, as I find them to be the most comfortable on the lips and the most moisturising.
Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses - I've been wearing these a lot lately - I bought them a few years ago in New York. I have a narrow face and often find large glasses too wide. However these fit nicely and don't take over my whole face. They are large tortoiseshell sunglasses with slightly graduated brown lenses. There is also a small amount of gold hardware on the front edges of the frames.
