Sleek MakeUp Storm & Au Naturel Palette Review

Sleek MakeUp iDivine Storm Palette
Sleek MakeUp iDivine Storm Palette

These palettes have been out for a while, I picked them up from Primor in Spain, they were on offer (4 for the price of 3), and I liked the look of the earthy neutral tones - so I thought I may as well try them out. I've been using them for about 6 weeks; overall I've been really pleasantly surprised by the quality of these shadows (They've out performed some of my much more expensive eyeshadows).
The palettes are light weight, slim and are made of sleek black plastic. Each of these palettes come with a large mirror on the inside of the lid - making these palette ideal to travel with. The only negative thing I have discovered about the packaging is that they can be a little difficult to open (I have broken several nails opening them).

This contains 12 shadows, 3 matte shades and 9 metallic shimmery shades. All of these shadows are pigmented and are easy to blend. They last about 6 hours before they start to show wear. I have also used them with NARS smudge proof eyeshadow base. They last 10-12 hours with this primer.
The only negative I have found is that there is a small bit of fall out when applying the shadows. In order to avoid this issue, I do my eye makeup before my face makeup - meaning I can just wipe away any shadow fall out before I start applying my face makeup.
The first shadow in the palette (top left) is a warm gold metallic shade; it's a very smooth and pigmented, it's ideal to use as an inner corner highlight or to highlight/brighten the centre of the lid.
The next shadow (top right) is a pale frosty smooth metallic champagne shade; again ideal to use as a highlight.
The bottom left shade is an extremely pigmented smooth, dark warm bronze with micro gold shimmer - ideal for all over the lid to create a darker smokey look or to use in the crease.
The next shadow (bottom right) is a smooth metallic pigmented blue shade with sliver shimmer running through it. It can be used along the lash-line for a pop of colour.

The top left hand shade is a matte warm tan pigmented smooth shade. It is an ideal subtle crease colour or even a nice transition shade.
The top right hand shade is a yellow toned metallic gold shimmer pigmented shade. Ideal to be used as a highlight
The bottom left hand shade is a very pigmented, smooth metallic emerald green shade, with sliver micro shimmer. I have used this shadow all over the eyelid for a dramatic look, along the lower lash-line for a subtle hint of colour and on the outer corner to deepen up a neutral eye with some colour.
The bottom right hand shade is a slight purple toned royal blue with sliver micro shimmer through it. This can also be used along the lash-line.

The top left shade is a pigmented metallic, warm pink shade, with sliver micro glitter through it.
The next shade (top right) is a warm cranberry metallic, pigmented shade with gold micro shimmer through it. I like to wear this shade all over the lid.
The bottom left hand shade is a pigmented medium cool, toned brown matte shade. I like to wear this shade in the crease.
The last shade in the palette is a matte black pigmented shade. This shade weirdly has a extremely gritty texture. It has a lot of fall out when applied.

I would definitely recommend this palette - all of these shadows (with the exception of the black one) are pigmented, smooth, blendable shades and for €9.99, I think this palette is absolutely worth it Link!

The Au Naturel i-Divine Palette Link!
This contains eight matte & four shimmery shades. The shimmery shades in this palette are really pigmented. I have noticed however that there is a small amount of fallout when these are applied.
The darker matte shadows are also quite pigmented; unfortunately the paler matte shades are chalky and have little to no colour payoff. (I have swatched the paler shadows very heavily below).

Nougat (top left) - This is an off-white matte shade; it can be used as a base, a brow-bone shade or inner corner highlight. It has quite a soft texture - this is the most pigmented of the matte shades in this palette. However the pigmentation still isn't great.
Nubuck (top right)- This is a pale matte grey shade with a slight blue undertone; the shade has no colour payoff at all when applied. No matter how much I try and build the colour up, I can't get it to show up at all.
Conker (Bottom left), This is a metallic warm bronze shade with a purple undertone and has gold micro gold glitter through it. It has an incredibly smooth texture, and is very pigmented. Ideal all over the lid or in the crease for a dark smoky look.
Moss (Bottom right)- This is a metallic olive green shade with gold micro glitter through it. This shade has decent colour payoff. Again this is ideal lid, crease or lash-line shade

Cappuccino (top left) This is a matte nude shade with a slight grey undertone. Unfortunately this shade has little to no colour payoff.
Honeycomb (top right) This is a matte golden sand shade. It has a soft texture with some colour payoff but not a lot.
Bark (bottom left) This is a matte medium grey shade, unfortunately its texture is chalky.
Mineral Earth (bottom right) This is a warm toned taupe metallic shade. It looks sparkly in the pan, however once applied the eyeshadow appears more metallic than sparkly. It is very smooth, soft, pigmented shade.

Toast- (top left) This is a matte peach shade. Unfortunately this shade is slightly chalky and is not very pigmented. However it can be built up for better colour payoff. I like to use it as a subtle crease colour or transition shade.
Taupe- (top right) This shade is a warm toned metallic shimmer, champagne shade. It is very smooth and pigmented , ideal to be used as an inner corner highlight or can be placed in the centre of the lid to brighten and highlight any eye look.
Regal- (bottom left) This is a matte deep purple shade, it has a soft smooth texture with decent pigmentation.ideal to darken the outer corner.
Noir- (bottom right) This is a matte black shade. It has a slight gritty texture & isn't very pigmented.

Overall between the two palettes, I have discovered that the shimmer shades and the darker matte shades are very pigmented smooth and blendable - while the pale matte colours have little to no colour payoff and have a chalky texture.
After using both of these palettes I would say the Storm palette is absolutely worth the €9.99.
Although there is definitely some very disappointing shades in the Au Naturel palette, there are still five good shades and for €9.99 it's still not a bad deal.

  1. I absolutely love the Storm palette. It's such a great basics palette. I find lining a tissue at an angle along the bottom of my eye helps with the fall out. Great review though x
