Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette Review

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

This palette contains nine eyeshadows, four matte, three metallic and two matte shade with small gold glitter particles through them.
The palette is made of tin and has a magnetic closure which would make it ideal for travelling, it also contains a decent sized mirror.
The shadows are organised into three different looks (Day, Classic & Fashion). The leaflet in the lid demonstrates how to achieve the three looks.

Heaven- This is a matte cream/beige shadow, it has a soft smooth texture, and can be worn as a highlight shade or all over the lid as a base.
Silk Teddy- This is a pale frosty pink metallic shade. It has a soft smooth velvety texture. This shade can be used in the inner corner or in the centre of the lid to brighten any eye look.

Push -Up- This is a slightly rosey bronze shade with a gold metallic finish. It has a soft smooth texture. And is a perfect lid colour.
Erotica- This is a slightly grey toned dark brown matte shade with small gold glitter though it. This shade has slightly powdery texture, however I haven't noticed any fallout. It is Ideal for the outer corner of the eye to smoke out any look.

Honey Pot - This is a highly pigmented metallic gold shade, it has an incredibly soft smooth texture, it's ideal to put on the centre of the lid to brighten up any eye look.
Chocolate Martini - This a warm matte dark brown shade with small gold glitter particles running through it. This shadow has a slightly gritty texture, however it applies evenly & I haven't noticed any fall out.

All of these shades have excellent pigmentation, they are incredibly blendable and there is no fall out with any of them. I think they are all very wearable day or night (depending on the look you're going for)

There was only two issues I encountered with this palette the first being two of the shadow pans came loose and fell out of the palette, thankfully the shadows didn't break, I'll just have to glue them back into the palette. The other was that the shadows only lasted about four hours before they started to fade, which was disappointing. However when I wore them with my Nars smudge proof eyeshadow base, they lasted 10 hours on me!
I think for €37 this palette is worth it (as long as you don't mind wearing a primer).

Each of the larger eyeshadows have 2.0g/0.07 oz of product while the smaller shadows contain 0.9g/0.03 oz of product (just for comparison) MAC eyeshadows contain 1.5g/0.05 oz of product

I created a quick simple look using four shadows in this palette. I swept Heaven all over the eye as a base, then placed Cashmere Bunny in the crease, I then darkened the outer corner slightly with Sexspresso and finally to brighten the look I placed Push-up on the inner two thirds of the eyelid.

I purchased the palette from Escentual.com when they were having 25% off.
This palette is also available from Debenhams with free delivery Link!

Please note I purchased all of the products mentioned. The above links are not affiliate links.

  5. It looks like they changed this! It used to be in a different package and a couple of the shades are different. Still such a nice palette...really want to get the NARS primer, I've heard it's really good!

    1. It is a new version of the palette, unfortunately I don't have the old one to compare. From what I can gather the new version is less shimmery! The Nars eye primer is amazing - best I've tried :)

  6. This looks gorgeous, I think I saw it in one of Vivianna Does Makeups videos and she created a really lovely look with it! That's a shame some of it was broken though and it sucks that the staying power isn't too good x

    1. She did indeed! I was disappointed with their lasting power of the shadows, at least the primer solves the problem :)

  7. Looks like such a gorgeous palette! I'm currently loving the Naked palette from Urban Decay, pretty similar I think, but keen to give this one a go!

    1. The first Naked palette is similar to this palette. You Probably don't NEED both palettes. I can always justify buying more neutral palettes to myself lol :)

  8. The palette looks great, but I think for the price the shadows should be able to stay in the palette and stay on for longer than 4 hours. You made a lovely look with them :)
