My Favourite Spring/Summer Lipsticks

I have chosen six lipsticks that range from everyday neutral tones to bold bright colours, all of which I think are perfect of Spring/Summer. These lipsticks are glossy and feel moisturizing on the lips, because of this none of them are incredibly long lasting.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait - Link! This is a peach shade with a lot of gold shimmer thought it. This shade is ideal for Summer. The texture is somewhere between a balm and a lipstick. It feels very moisturizing on the lips, however because it has such a moisturizing balmy texture it's lasting power isn't great. But once you don't mind reapplying thoughout the day you'll love it!

Estee Lauder Cyrstal Pink-Link! This is my all time favourite, it is a glossy light pink shade with a subtle mauvey/rosey undertones it feels moisturising on the lips and has a very creamy texture. There is a small amount of sparkle through the lipstick, however the sparkle doesn't seem to transfer to the lips.
Estee Lauder: Crystal Pink

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy- Link! This is a soft sheer pink with beige undertones, it has a glossy finish and feels quite balmy on the lips. again the lasting power isn't great because of its balm like texture but this colour is beautiful.

Bite Beauty Luminious Creme lipstick in Violet-Link! This lipstick is a blue toned purple (violet) colour. There is also a slight sweet violet scent to it. It's very pigmented, creamy, smooth with a light weight  texture, it also feels very moisturising on the lips. It lasts about two hours before it shows signs of wear on the lips. I  also thought it was worth mentioning that this lipstick is made from food grade ingredients. This technically makes it edible!

MAC (amplifed) Girl About Town- Link! This is a cool toned bright raspberry pink shade, it is very pigmented and has a very creamy smooth texture. It lasts about three hours before I need to reapply.

Marc Jacobs Roll the dice- Link! This is another raspberry pink shade with a slight red undertone to it, the lipstick goes on smoothly, and leaves a lovely sheen on the lips. It lasts for about two hours on the lips before it start to wear.

  6. I used to wear bright lipsticks all the time, but for some reason I don't think they suit me anymore. I'm a nude lipgloss kinda gal at the moment! xxx
