Current Loves #2

Marc Jacobs genius gel foundation in Ivory Medium Link! - This foundation is gorgeous, it's a medium coverage but you can build it up to full coverage. I find that 2 pumps is plenty to do my face, as well as blending it down my neck. This foundation lasts all day and leaves a satin sheen on the skin.
I was colour matched for this foundation in Sephora with the SEPHORA + PANTONE COLOR IQ tool this is an electronic deice when is placed on two different areas on the face and one on the neck. They do three different readings in order to get the best match for you. Once they take your reading they are able to identify the correct shade for you in any foundation that they carry. Once you get your reading number you can shop the foundations online using it! Occasionally depending on your reading it may give you two choices in certain foundations. I only got one colour option and I’m really happy with it.
Nars Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte Link! This is a retractable mechanical pencil. It glides onto the waterline smoothly and lasts for hours - it really opens up and brightens my eyes.
Becca blush in Flower Child Link! This is a shimmery peach blush. It has excellent pigmentation and has a soft smooth texture - it lasts all day and does not go patchy.
Guerlain Meteorites Perles Illuminating Powder Teinte Rose 01 Link!-This powder has a violet scent. I apply it all over my face. This is a light powder that leaves a subtle sheen on the skin.
Estee Lauder Pure Color Crystal Pink Link! This is my all time favourite lipstick. It is light pink with a rosey undertone. It is a really creamy and moisturizing, it does have some small amount of sparkle to it but it is very subtle and is barely detectable on the lips. The lipstick is not very long-lasting, but once you don't mind reapplying a few times throughout the day you'll love it.
Aveeno Skin Relief Lotion Link!- This has a very rich, thick gel-like consistency that absorbs easily and gets rid of dry patches. I have dry sensitive skin, it doesn't aggravate my skin and leaves it feeling moisturized. This might be too heavy for some people but if you have very dry sensitive skin, I'd definitely recommend it!
Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi Bath and Shower Cream Link!- This stuff smells amazing! It’s a thick luxurious cream - it feels moisturizing and again doesn't aggravate my skin.
Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Intense Rescue Melting Balm Link! This balm is a solid consistency in the tub, as it warms up a little it turns into an oil. I scoop some of the balm out of the tub and warm it in my hands before I apply it to prewashed dry hair. I leave it in for about 20 minutes then rinse it out and shampoo as normal (I don't usually use conditioner after I've used the balm). I use it once a week. I usually get about 8 applications out of one tub. I have long hair, and a lot of it, but the texture of it is fine. This balm doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy. It also smells amazing!
Essie nail polish in Merino Cool Link! This is a dark muddy Taupe with a purple undertone. This polish is really easy to apply as it has a really wide brush. It doesn't go streaky, is opaque in 2 coats and lasts about 3 days on me without chipping (normally nail polish with chip on me within a day).
Michael Kors Watch- (MK5384) Link! This watch goes with everything and the face isn't too big so it doesn't take over the entire width of my wrist.
Gold- plated Cartier inspired nail bangle - I love to wear this layered with my watch.

  4. I bought the Marc Jacobs foundation-I currently have about 12 different ones in my stash but I think I might try this next. Luckily we can get Marc Jacobs here in Dubai so hoping I have the right colour match but next time I am in the US I am definitely going to try the foundation match thingy!
